The ability of sound to transform an empty space into a living, moving, breathing, experience is what lead Tim onto the path of mastering and sound design. His passion began early when he spent his entire graduation savings on turntables and started to DJ. As he joined this new electronic movement, he brought along with him his skills as a musician (upright bass and djembe) and turned it into a lifelong career.   

Tim began sculpting the sound-spaces for theater, winning multiple awards on both the East and West coasts for his work. His desire to breathe life into a static space -- just as a sculpture gives movement to a static object -- lead him to work on multiple straight-to-Broadway shows, and tour at the finest theatres across the country. His unique experiences and skills allow him to finely sculpt an album into a living movement, not just a passive listening experience.

Tim has a strong artistic background in music and design, complimented by advanced technical training. Often building custom 80bit +DSP processors for use in his mastering sessions. His focus is never in technology alone, but always on the holistic impact of music on a listeners awareness and emotions.
