MASTERING

What is mastering?

Mastering is your final opportunity to refine your recording, and to make sure it sounds exactly how you want it to.

Mastering is so much more than making things “louder.” It’s the final creative stage of your production, and it’s a critical point in the life of your record.

Loud starts with balance

Once the tonal spectrum of your project is correct, then we can make it sound loud without introducing any harshness

Put your music in the hands of our experienced engineers. They will guide you through the mastering process, and they have the skill set necessary to truly elevate your music.

Cutting corners in the mastering phase means that all of the time, effort, and creativity you’ve poured into your project could

go to waste. Why settle for an end product that is anything less than you hoped it would be?

Scott Hull, our chief mastering engineer, often hears from people who have tried to master their projects themselves and find that their music just isn’t sounding right.

It can be incredibly difficult to listen objectively to your own music, especially when you’ve already spent hours and hours scrutinizing it. That’s why it’s extremely important to have someone from an outside perspective listening closely to your recording.
